Trevor Rabin: Can't Look Away. I first heard this solo album years ago. This guitarist is originally from South Africa and eventually joined the rock group Yes in the 80's and 90's before going on to composing movie soundtracks.

The Captains. This is a dcumentary by William Shatner in which he interviews the four actors and one actress who played captains for the other Star Trek series and movies. As much as I enjoy Star Trek, learning about the real people behind the characters is intriguing as well.

Defying Gravity: Season One. Unfortunately, one season was all that was made from this cancelled-too-soon scifi-romantic-comedy-drama. One Part Lost, one part Grey's Anatomy, one part Star Trek, and with a production value that was really top notch.
